Tom Dwan Resurfaces, Talks Strategy with Paul Phua

Tom Dwan appeared on a strategy video for Paul Phua Poker recently after a long public absence. Dwan’s well-being and whereabouts were fodder for poker forums, rumor mills and memes for months, but he filmed two short strategy videos with Macau’s Phua that show’s he’s alive and well.

Dwan hasn’t cashed in a tournament in nearly three years – sixth place in the 2014 Aussie Millions $250,000 Challenge – and was last seen in Las Vegas the same year when Dwan and Phil Ivey assisted Phua during his legal problems.

In the first video, they discuss amateur players and their playing styles and the second, discusses player stereotypes. The upcoming Aussie Millions seems most probable if the pair were to return to the High Roller tournament arena.
