A little over a week ago we saw Cary Katz take home his biggest career score, after winning Super High Roller Bowl London. The $2.6 million score bumped Katz into the 18th spot on the all-time money list, solidifying his case as a future Poker Hall of Famer.

Katz overcame one of the toughest fields assembled, as 12 of the worlds best forked up £250,000 to battle it out over the course of two days. Here are some of my favorite images from Super High Roller Bowl London!

Late on day 1 Daren Elias was all in for his tournament life against Sam Greenwood. Elias held ace-eight and was in rough shape against the two kings of Greenwood. However the ace of clubs was the window card, and Elias would double through. As the river card secured the double for Elias, this is a look at his reaction.

After taking down over $20,500,000 in his last tournament score, it should come to no surprise that Bryn Kenney has taken off the last few months from poker and is just out there living his best life. Kenny didn’t make it out for any of the British Poker Open events, however, he did show up for Super High Roller Bowl London. Kenney was gaining traction early but was eliminated late on Day 1. He will have to wait until the next high roller to try and pad to his lead atop the All-Time Money Earned list, as he currently sits in 1st with over $55,000,000.

The final 9 players combined for the unofficial final table of SHRB London. Christoph Vogelsang, Cary Katz, Darren Elias, Stephen Chidwick, Mikita Badziakouski, Ali Imsirovic, David Peters, and Sam Greenwood would all battle for the £2,100,000 top prize.

Day 2 was off and running as Ali Imsirovic scored a double knockout, sending home David Peters and Sam Greenwood in the same hand. A few hands later Imsirovic eliminated Badziakouski as well, taking a huge chip lead early. Imsirovic would ride the rollercoaster all the way to 2nd place in London.

After a crazy three-handed battle that lasted nearly 6 hours, Christoph Vogelsang was eliminated on the bubble. The bubble was for a whopping $1,118,707, meaning both Katz and Imsirovic were guaranteed over 7-figures, at the cost of Vogelsang’s tournament life.

The heads-up battle between Cary Katz and Ali Imsirovic left nothing to be desired when it comes to excitement. A number of all ins between the two lead to a number of exchanges with the chip leader, with both players having an opportunity to close it out.

All. The. Biscuits…Cary Katz takes home a career-best $2.6mm+ score to move into 18th on the all-time money list. All week everyone couldn’t stop snacking on the cookies the casino provided at their coffee station, including Cary. It was only right to throw a few of them into a winners photo.
